At Big Buddha Hill or Wat Phra Yai, you can see the biggest Buddha image of Chonburi province, visible from far away approaching the hill. The Buddha image is located on top of Pratamnak Hill, just south of the city of Pattaya. Driving up the road to the top of the hill will give you some very nice views of the Pattaya bay area.

Naga stairway

A long stairway flanked by two golden-coloured Naga snakes leads to the Buddha image, which was constructed in 1977. The enormous golden-coloured Buddha image is around 18 meters high and is officially named Phra Buddha Sukhothai Walai Chonlathan, and is also known as Luang Pho Yai.Apart from the Big Buddha, there are seven smaller Buddha images on the temple grounds as well as a pavilion. • No refund is applicable should the guest not travel or visit the attraction 
• Pick-up time needs to be mentioned at the time of booking. The actual pick-up time is to be reconfirmed before the service date 
• All schedules are subject to change due to traffic, weather conditions and the number of guests during peak times or any other unforeseen reasons. 
• Any changes requested due to unavoidable circumstances have to be made strictly with the Duty Manager and would remain subject to availability and conditions of the Tour. Messages left with Guides and Drivers for changes will not be considered valid. 
• The maximum waiting time is 05 mins, from the time the Guide/ Driver has reported at the hotel for pick-up. The guide will look for the guest in the Lobby Concierge area and if the guest is not found will call the hotel room. If no answer is received from the room, the guide/driver will leave the premises and it will be considered a No Show. 
• Guest who fails to board the transfer service will have to make their own arrangement for transfers/tours. No Refund or Reschedule is applicable 
• For Transfers & Tours: Guests are requested to be at the place of pick up/hotel lobby 05 minutes before the pickup time as mentioned in the itinerary and may have to wait for a period of about 30 -45 minutes - depending upon - traffic, other picking up of guests and location of the hotel on the route.
